I love 'tags-to-riches' type stories, so this book was right my ally. Rags to riches does not always have to mean dirt poor to millionaire, it just means that you are given very little and make the most out of it. You succeed regardless of the stigmas held against you. Grundy personifies this perfectly. I hate to give away spoilers and take from the book so instead I will just review the writing itself. Just trust me when I say the story is incredibly uplifting. If you don't feel like you could move mountains when you finish reading then I dare say you have no pulse.

The writing itself is superb. Trust me, I have bought a ton of inexpensive books on Amazon and more often than not get burnt. My sister is an author and I remember how hard it is to get your name out there at the start, so I still try to read any new authors in the genres I enjoy and give them an honest review. Honestly I can see the story making it big. The author does a great job of putting us inside Grundy's head and really making you connect with him. I can't imagine anyone reading the book and not rooting for the guy. It is just a really strong read. = I've already recommended it to my sister (the author) and my younger brother. I hope they end up reviewing it as well!

This is a good book for the entire family to read. You wont go wrong if you read it and tell all of your friends about it as well.
This a helpful book I recommend it wholeheartedly! the character William Grundy inspires me to read the story and tell all my friends.
This is an inspiring and vividly told story. The main character's journey from extra to leading character is a metaphor for the role of both grace and hard work in all our lives. I think other readers will enjoy the rich writing style and message as much as I did.
